I remember playing on Yahoo! Pool. I don't recall why I was home.

,I live in California. So I was asleep until my sister called from Minnesota to tell me something had hit one of the WTC towers. As we were on the phone watching CNN, the second plane hit. Little did I know at the time that a friend from High School was on that flight headed back to LA after meeting his Fiances parents in Boston. What a Sad day in American history :(

I was watching the Today Show, which is taped delayed here, when they cut in live and started talking about how a plane had hit the WTC and they weren't even talking terrorism at that point. The day just got worse as I watched. I cried and prayed a lot that day!

I was working in a customers laboratory, the CEO came and got people to watch what was happening, I saw the second jet hit the WTC. Will never ever forget what those mentally ill fanatics of a so-called religion did.
The USA should do racial profiling, stopping every car constantly and searching it. Maybe they would get out of the USA.

I was driving to work when I heard on the radio that a plane had struck the WTC. When I got the work, I put on the TV and saw the gaping hole in the first tower and actually saw the 2nd plane crash into the 2nd tower...I was freaked out...I didn't know what was happening and why...

I don't want to give away my age, lol, but I had just graduated from College and I actually was IN NYC to tour and shop (and party). I wasn't planning to tour the Twin Towers THAT DAY but it was part of my agenda for the, what turned into FOUR weeks that I stayed. (I ONLY planned to stay a week but was too afraid to leave; but I eventually rented a car to drive back to Chicago) *I initially FLEW to NY.
I WAS able to phone my family that day from my cell but like many; I had to go out on a long Pier to even get a connection and it took many tries, at that.
It was the worst experience of my entire life.

I was 14 and I was at a bording school in Dayton, TN and there were several kids there from NY and some of them actually had family that worked in the Towers. Fortunately, no one from their family was hurt. Thank God for that. We were sitting in class and the principal came in and told us he was on the internet, one of those news sites like MSNBC or something and it was on there. Everyone started crying and flipping out. We went back to the dorms and they were flipping out even more because they couldn't get thru on the phones to their family in NY.

I was on tour with NSYNC. I had gotten up early that morning and was sitting on the bed watching TV, talking to my dispatcher on the phone when the second plane hit. He got on the net and we both sat quietly on the phone watching in horror. After a long time I realized we were both crying. He said in our life time did you think we would ever witness a mass murder live?

I was getting ready to go to the hospital for surgery. My brother called and told us to turn on the TV, I certainly didn't want to believe what I was seeing!! I was numb with shock and grief for days!
To the people who lost their lives, their families, friends and to anyone else effected by this tragedy--My thoughts and prayers are with you always!!

I was skipping school with one of my friends and we went to the mall and there was this news report playing all over the place and we didn't know what was going on so we asked someone and they told us. We also learned they sent everyone home time it happened.
