Yep, Well, take drama at school and be in all the school plays, get your parents' backing for you to be an actor, since you can't work professionally without their consent until you are 18. Get a mentor. Start building a resume and learn how to audition. Lots of work takes years to complete--if you want more help and your parents agree to help you, click on my name, read my profile and write me at my aol address.

actually one part of what he says is true and another is completely false okay get an acting coach to help you with monolouges that you will need at an interview with an agent. they will help you bring out different emotions you didn't know you could. but also you can do the same thing with a drama teacher at you high/middle school. but don't do this because it looks like fun do it because this is something you have a passion for. an agent or casting director can tell if it's something you have a passion for. there are so many girls who would love to be in acting and have a real passion for it it's just something they live for so pls don't treat it like a game but if it is something you are passionate about go for it and i hope you do well. but i'm doing the same thing. but get experience drama class school plays or musicals. do research on how to type up resumes. how to impress an agent do not expect to have an interview first time around. i didn't but now i have one and i've been to so many auditions but this industry involves so much rejection. be prepared for it and most imprortantly get a headshot black and white preferably 8x10 do research know what your getting into. it's not a game it's a business. i hope i helped

Hey, I have always wanted to act also, but there are some things that I have learned in the past year about it. Don't go take acting lessons(waste of money). Go into theater at your school, talk to the acting teacher, and learn more about techniques. I'm in an acting class at my school, and it, and my teacher have helped.
