Will NON Acid-Free Tape tarnish or damage Sterling Silver merchandise?

i'm ordering tape( invisible tape/Transparent tape) for tape some sterling silver chain. will the non acid-free tape damage my silver chain?

Never take the chance. The mortal enemy of silver is sulfur. Silver is too precious. Find a mechanical way (string?) to bind whatever to your silver chain. Keep it in a polyethylene bag.

it will cause it to tarnish. Can you find any acid free tape to use. Try that if you can.
