i have a 1971 dodge demon with a 225 slant six and 904 tranny. i am putting in a 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 gears. with the 225, 904, new rear end, and gear will my car be very fast and have descent acceleration?

By 1971 standards, it would be a modest performer, by todays standards it will be downright slow.

Still a classic though!

I'd yank the 6 and put a V-8 in it.The slant 6 is a very good engine,extremely reliable,but i wouldn't go through the hassel with a 6 cylinder.If you do i suggest a 4:11 rear ratio then WOW yeah that sucker would throw you in your seat,but it would have hardly any top end.

No! It was a dog to start with. You need to put a hemi in it.
