It might not be a mystery to all of you people, but it is to me. My throat hurts SO BAD. I'm on the verge of bawling. When I swallow, it's incredibly painful. My ears are like plugged and hurt a little. I'm wearing sweats and a sweatshirt, but I'm still cold. What's wrong?!

I had my tonsils removed when I was five haha. Thanks for your help! It turns out I just have a really bad case of the flu.

The flu can also cause this but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation to see what they think is going on.

It sounds a lot like strep. You need to go to the doctor ASAP to get antibiotic (amoxicillin or penicillin) to feel better. It sounds like you have a fever too so just take some tylenol for now and see what the doctor says tomorrow or when you can get in.

Feel better sweetie.

Hmmm..sounds like strep throat or an upper respiratory infection to me. See your doctor tommorow morning. That will also cause a fever, or the "Shakes" even though you are wearing something warm. Take Tylenol, Tea, Rub Vicks on your throat. It's the best you can do for now.

I had the same thing happen to me. I have had strep twice and tonsillitis. Go to the doctor ASAP. The first I had those symptoms I waited too long and couldn't swallow water!

It seems like you have a fever and/or a cold. Try to rest A LOT, drink plenty of fluids, and keep your house at room temperature, not too hot and not too cold. Goodluck and I hope you feel better soon!
