Yes, it's possible to be too picky, and No, don't "settle" - hope that helps... Sorry, couldn't resist. I think the List needs to be flexible, something like must have, nice to have, and could change...

that's what dating is all about. it's like a job interview. you need to find the person that best fits the job. if you can't find someone who meets most of you qualifications, keep looking. you can't be too picky. if you just settle it will be a horrible mess. and who knows, in the time that you are settled with the wrong person you may miss the right one's chance to come into your life....

depends.
if you are not interested because he is 1" too short, 10 lbs too heavy, didnt go to college but has a good secure job, earns 1,000.00 less then you want, that would be too picky.
if the guy was a 1' shorter, 200lbs heavier, didnt go to high school, cant hold a job, is on welfare, that would not be too picky.
yes , i think is is possible to be too picky, but it is also possible to settle for something you really dont want.

you should be extremely picky, settling for the wrong person is not a good way to live your life!

picky about how he looks, acts, or treats you...or all of the above? No one is perfect, you grow to love little things about people if they were always exactly what you wanted or expected life would be so boring!! Dont sweat the small stuff like snoring or eating gross food combinations.... as long as he/she isnt a deranged killer or complete ******, give your partner a chance I say!!

I settled for my last marriage...thinking all would be good. Turns out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life however, he did teach me what to look out for in a partner and what to avoid.
I'm now happily married to a man that is just right for me. I had to become picky...one must if you value your happiness!
Good question! :-)

You have to realistic in your wants and needs and then.... be picky to satisfy them. YOU know yourself better than anyone and what makes you happy. Trust me... saying "I do" is a big deal even though the world today is so quick to divorce..... so be sure you want to spend your life with whomever you choose!
