You don't get to just add the numbers together in a dual core processor, it doesn't work that way. I wasn't going to mention that until you started talking about people "not knowing computers."

Anyway, most of the games you mentioned are 2 years old, Dark Messiah is a year old, and you are NOT playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. at the highest settings with that setup, at least not with a halfway decent framerate. Like the first guy said, older games like Quake 4, F.E.A.R. you can run at high, but new games, not going to happen, you need a better video card and more memory.

None. You will be able to play a few new games on medium, or at most medium-high settings, but you will see extreme performance issues if you try to go higher. Modern computers designed to play games at the maximum settings cost over $3000. You will be able to play many old games on higher settings, however. The bottom line is, to play new games on high settings, you need a new computer, as the newest software usually takes the most advantage of all the latest technology that it possibly can.

you cant play new games on max. but you can run it with a high quality like rainbow six vegas - GRAW - oblivion - and some other games like that.
for some filters like AA and AF you need powerful VGAs like 8800 series to run it smoothly without frame loss.
i guess you can run bioshock-stranglehold and some other games like that in mid-high quality.
it depends on resolution too, high resolutions requires more powerful VGAs.
you can run all strategy games on max quality except world in conflict.
also you cant play directx 10 games.
i hope thats enough for you. and if you like any game you can visit the official site of the game to see the minimum and recommended requirements of the game.
