Because if you just want to go down to the store and buy some groceries but you're tired and don't feel like walking then you could go in your car.Going in a plane won't bring you in that short of a distance.And its plane tickets are more expensive than just using a little bit of gas.And you won't be able to use airplanes if you want to go to a rural area because theres probably no airports there for you to land there.Hope I helped.

Well because I think that if you did not have a car then you would get so tired and how would you carry your groceries home?
