What was it that made it really memorable? Did you go somewhere? Did you make a tradition you still do? (i'm trying to figure out what i'm going to do with mine.)

We have only been married a year an a half, but we went to an old fort in our town, ( Fort Ticonderoga) which was really fun, my husband is not from the USA. At home we cooked our dinner together, which we do most of the time. Then we had a very romantic evening....was not much, but just spending the whole day and night together was great!

Our anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks; we got married at a renaissance faire last year, and this year we're going to the same faire - so the problem of the anniversary celebration is solved for us. I've been going to this same faire for 5 years now, and my husband came with me to the last two. So I guess you could say it's becoming a "tradition" for us.

I will be spending my 1 year at my parent's house in North Cali probably crying (husband will be in Iraq still). If he were home, though, we probably would have just had a special dinner at home, or dressed up and gone out. I'm not sure which.
