So now we har having debates in the language of the invaders who are not even eligible to vote. How is this not a bad idea????

All right to all of you who called me a racist (of course this requires no thought or backing in logic) How do you feel when you see the flag of other countries being flown at demonstations demanding "rights" for people who have no right to even be here. I suppose that you go stand next to them. In order to succed in America you have to speak English and by allowing this "second langue" to continue you are facilitating the exploitation of people.

What I find disgusting is that after more than 200 years the United States of America still has no official language.
Thats why there is a debate in Spanish. Wait for the Hindu version soon.

There are plenty of people in the US who speak Spanish and can legally vote.
Would you
rather that we have a bunch of Spanish speakers unable to vote in an
informed manner because we refuse to allow them access to information based
on language? I'd rather the Spanish speaking voters be able to hear the
debates in their own language and make an informed personal choice in
the ballot box than have them vote as a block because they had to rely
on a translation from someone with a biased political opinion.
Sure it would be nice if they learned English, but as it stands today,
there is no legal requirement for this. You and I both know that the
fact is there are MANY Spanish speakers in this country, and denying
them the information they need to properly vote is a step in the wrong
direction.

You talk about invaders in the language of the largest group of invaders in north america. How ironic.
Although not of course the first group of invaders, where just about anyone other than English speakers (Arabs, Chinese, Vikings, Spanish and French to name a few) were there first.
It's so sad for xenophobes that there ISN'T an official language, and if an official language was imposed when it was first discussed it would have almost certainly have been GERMAN, not English.

capitalism has no nationality and/or a particular language. nationalism is for the poor and ignorant people and it is used for the purpose of divide and conquer! money talks! just like they have advertisements to sell products in Spanish, they will campaign in Spanish too! after all people in the office are there for the corporation's interest!

I do find it disgusting, but not surprised. The liberal democrats are pandering to the illegal for votes, and nothing more. Sending them back across the border would be sending their votes away, and we cant have that can we? The liberal democrat relies heavily on the illegal vote, as well as the dead people vote, and of course the multiple voter...

When the President of the United States learns to speak English you come back and say that. He seems to speak better Spanish than he does English. I do know he doesn't speak English very well.

Wow. That question is inaccurate on so many levels. They're not targeting illegal aliens. They are targeting Hispanics who are eligible to vote but who are more likely to tune into a debate if it's in Spanish.

contrary to popular belief there are legal Spanish speaker and this next sentence will turn your world upside down....There are American citizens who speak Spanish. Breathe man! BREATHE! Puerto Ricans are born citizens and Cubans can get asylum if they touch base here.
