The Ramones: They're all about simplicity. Almost every song is based around three rotational chords, yet they still sound so good. And they're probably the first punk rock band.
The Sex Pistols: They're a good band too, but they definitely have the views of a true punk rock band.
The Clash: They're pretty political too, but not like the Sex Pistols, and their musicians are skilled. That doesn't necessarily mean they're better than the Ramones though.
