so i am at the part in the game where im at the colluseum where you need to get random pokemon and you cant use your own
but the pokemon i get always suck!!what do i do???

try to pick better pokemon or try to anticipate the pokemon your opponent will use.
The leader in the other hand will use the same team over and over and I always chose the same as him and still lost.

try the pokemon you have, you might get better ones as the game progresses

you take what you get and you turn it into something good that you can use.
sorry that this wasn't much help, but this question is basically complaining that you can't win. there's nothing anyone can do.
