Why speak out against safe drugs while remaining silent on deadly products and transports?

The pharmaceuticals in Canada are identical to those in the USA, often coming from the same manufacturer, just repackaged for the Canadian market, which has to have the information in French....don't get me started. In many cases they are made IN the USA. Many are made in Canada under license from the pharmaceutical company. Buying drugs over the internet is dangerous and stupid, as most of the websites sell counterfeit drugs and who knows what else. There was a period of time when "internet pharmacies" were doing legitimate business....they were a very lucrative offshoot of a brick and mortar pharmacy. The problem was they had to have a Canadian doctor vet the prescription, which is both illegal and unethical if you don't actually examine the patient or know anything about their health problems. Lots of Canadian doctors got in trouble for basically rubber stamping US prescriptions, and most of the legit internet pharmacies have now been shut down. The reason drug prices are so much higher in the USA is political, not economic. Condie is just a Bushie lapdog. She really should get out of politics and back to teaching and playing the piano.

be informed about it man....The big scare in Europe right now is counterfeit drugs made by the Russian mafia being smuggled into eastern European nations, then to Paris, then to London, and finally ending in Montreal and Toronto....America does not need to open another border for illegal goods.....Canada is dealing with the s*** from Europe and we are dealing with the s*** from everyone south of the border....Friends watch each others backs (every if it is their own as* they are protecting).

The 'danger' that Condi is referring to is that pharmaceutical companies won't be able to maximize profits if Americans buy the less costly drugs in Canada.
