Intelligence is really applied logic, Albert Einstein was not a great achiever at school, His head master said he'd never achieve anything! How wrong was he! I am of the opinion that intelligence is not general, but applied! If Einstein was taught as a bricklayer, or some hands on trade, I wonder if his intelligence would have still shined through? It makes one think, doesn't it? Have a great day.

My son who is so precious to me and so intelligent. He will be going to Howard University in about a year and a half (YaY!) My husband....well he tries...just kidding. He was born in the projects, with a single mother. He pulled himself up by the bootstraps and was determined to make a success out of his life. He did that and got a beautiful wife as a reward. Of course you Semper, the epitome of most men on here. My contacts are awesome. Intelligent and sharp. They are what keep me coming back!

That's difficult to say as I have been amazed by many, at different times. No matter what the intelligence, people can have a different outlook on a situation, giving you a new perspective. Any perspective that makes you reevaluate the situation, makes you re-think, is an intelligent response. I commend all who try their best.

Have to give this one to my wife who never failed to make the Dean's list for four years at Texas A&M and another two at the University of Nebraska - was also in "Who's Who in American Colleges" four years running. Smart girl! But sometimes even smart people do dumb things - she married me.
