I was positive my almost-3-year relationship was with "the one". But now it's over. I have a feeling in my gut that we will be together again... But maybe that's just what I want so badly, and not a true instinct.

It may be possible for you to think she's the one for you, and her to think you're not the one for her. If that's the case, it'll never work out.

When a relationship ends, there's always doubts, and feelings that linger for a while. As time goes by, you'll heal, and the thoughts you have today will begin to fade.

If it's meant to be, it will. In the mean time, don't do anything that you may regret later. Keep your self respect and move forward.

Good luck to you.

The one is a fairy tale. It is actually what you both make it . In the world there are a zillion guys you could be happy with. The choice is up to you and him. Movie stars are a good example as they have money and looks but often there relationship goes in the toilet same as anyone elses. It takes a good foundation of trust and lots of maintenance for both of you. Then you might make it. Good Luck

Try to get over this relationship since you are no longer together. It is difficult but go out just focus on something else.
