Volunteer somewhere where you are really needed and where you can see the results of your efforts. I suggest an animal shelter or a retirement home. The residents of these places are the forgotten and uncared-for. You'll make a difference and give more than you take from this life. It's a good feeling.

Try PURPOSE. A life without purpose is rather empty.
Find what you truly enjoy doing (not just a hobby but something that contributes toward improving life, society, family, health, the environment, is creative, can be shared with others... you get the idea.
Personally I like solving mechanical problems connected with product development. Another is gourmet cooking. Inventing my own recipes.
Find it. Whatever it is you enjoy and few can do better than you when you really apply yourself to the problem. Figure out how you can make a living doing it. (You don't have to get rich, you just need to truly like doing it., and make enough that you don't have money problems.)
I have know people who got great paying jobs but hated the work. (You'll spend a third of your life working so you better like it.) All the money they made was wasted just trying to make up for their misery! Then they end up poor.
Find that thing you like to do so much you would rather be at work than almost anything else and you will find life very satisfying.
