I left for the weekend leaving several questions hanging. When I got back, they were all voted on or going up for votes. My votes didn't count. I was bummed, there were some answers I really wanted to award the 10 points to!

I have and felt like you. The people I would have awarded the 10 points didn't get them.However I usually leave a comment if it has gone to public vote.

I bet a LOT of people do that. -I kinda wish I knew how often that happens. I Answer "zillions" of questions sincerely- and only a tiny percentage seem to get credited. I often wonder is it my Answer that gets ignored- or the Question that gets forgotten... :(

Yes, that happened to me once when I went to my Son's. I like to choose my answers also.
