in my opinion i'm against it, because we already do enough classwork as it is!

i am completely against it! i'm a mother, and everyday my son comes home with plenty of homework. he's only in 3rd grade so i have to closely supervise it and honestly sometimes it's just a pain because we have other things that we need or would like to do. i say, if they can't teach you what you need to learn in the 7 or more hours at school-why is it now my responsibility as a parent to do the job of the teachers? schools should get better organized! forget homework-let kids be kids!

Against. The kids already spend a freaking 6 hours at school, isn't that PLENTY of time to do the work they need to do?!

I'm pretty damn sure that everyone who is for homework is out of school. grr I hate homework. Takes hours especially when your in the annoying ap classes.
And by the way anyone wanna tell me what the answer is? lol

Personally I hate it and I've read published, professional articles before that said if a teacher is good then they shouldn't have to give out homework.
Homework can be good at times when you don't pay attention in class though.

At the time I was in school I have to say I was against it. But as I look back I have to say that it did do me a lot of good.

AGAINST - i like work (whether it be school or otherwise) to stay AT work, i don't like spending my whole day doing jobs and then go home and do more there, a change of scenery doesn't really help to get the work done.

YESSS! ALSO WE DON'T GET to live our childhood! By the time we're done with it ( School/Homework) we have to get jobs anyways!

I agree with you....I mean, were at school all day doing work, then they give us homework to do at home!!
