My friend and her family thinks its ok to marry and date their cousin or step-brothers because they are not blood related.

I guess its how one is raised.. maybe her parents parents thought it was OK.. so in her family its ok. I do not agree with it.. because its still family blood or not blood kin. People are raised to believe different things, views, ect.,. and your friend thinks nothing of it due to the way her parents think of it.

your related in some way or another doesnt matter if it's the 10 cousin on the uncles father sisters side.
family is family.
i wouldnt take it as being a good idea i mean whaen family parties or thing like that come up are you going as a date or just being another family member

anything past a 3rd cousin is ok.. any thing beyoung that like 1st or 2nd is a nono...steps children if they have not been raised since small children as brother and sister may be ok..not really sure on this one..

Personally I think family is family. I would be against it and would not do it myself.
