I last went about 3 years ago, and caught a very bad cold. All the kiddies were there, guess that is where it came from.

I last bowled in January of 1988. I remeber it well, because my youngest son had passed away on the 7th & my two older sons were home form the Navy on family leave, & they wanted me to get out of the house for the evening. It was ten pins & I didn't do very well, all things considered. :(

I was on a bowling team about 30 years ago. But every body else was so much better than me. I think I was lucky to bowl a 60. So I just dropped out. I had this slight curve and could never make many pins. It just wasn't worth it. Not my game.

The last time was 7 years ago, at a small bowling alley near New Braunfels,Tx. And believe it or not it was 9 pin. It was the first time for me and my husband. They had teenagers setting up the pins for us. We had a blast!!!

I am the activities person at an assisted living facility and Monday night is bowling night (not at an official alley but down one of the halls.) Not sure if this counts as going bowling but it is the closest that I am probably going to come to going bowling, lol.

What are duck pins? I know we had ten pins. I went bowling for my Grandsons birthday. I was beaten miserably.

A few months ago. I take my grandchildren to lots of places and enjoy the fun too instead of just watching. I don't know what duckpins are.
May I add how sorry I am for short stuff? That had to be hard. There is no way to reach her. :(

2 months ago. At out ARC chapter we always get together at the bowling alley after the quarterly meeting...then get totally silly!!!
