With a remake of an older Western just in theatres (3:10 to Yuma), I wondered what the Community considered their favorite(s), if any, of this thoroughly American genre.

Thanks!

The Good, Bad and The Ugly.
Before Clint Eastwood films, I would have said The Searchers.

True Grit, the best John Wayne (the best cowboy) movie ever. I also like The Searchers, Shane, and some of the Audie Murphy ones such as Gunsmoke.
