Sadly, I think that I have before. Every president that I have voted for in the past has supported Social Security, the IRS and regulations affecting much of what I do even when it is peaceful.
I'm voting for Ron Paul this time around. I am hopeful that he will be different. If not for him, I would abstain from voting. The political process does not deserve the dignity that we grant it.

Face it, we all do. The Republicans would have us believe that the Democrats will lock us in some kind of socialist state and take away every freedom we have while taxing us into extinction. The Democrats respond that the Republicans are corporatists who imprison us with poverty and wage dependence, taking away our right to do anything but consume.
If there is a shred of truth in any of it we are going to elect a President who cages us. The only thing we get to choose is what colour it is.
