You can attempt to wear whatever size you want, but I wouldn't recommend it. I would go somewhere like Lane Bryant and have them actually measure you. I thought I was a 44C but after being measured, I found out I am actually a 40DD. And boy does that one fit so much better then before. I would recommend everyone go have a professional measurement!! I find bras that I love in Lane Bryant's, and they are cute. They have cute ones, sexy ones, and sporty ones that are all made for larger women! I would suggest trying with them before you try squeezing into a bra that doesn't fit.
Good luck and happy bra hunting!

I have had the same problem in the past but have found great bras at Nordstrom or fredericks of hollywood that come in DD sizes. DO NOT go down a size, you will just feel uncomfortable (yes there is a big difference between these cup sizes) You will also be more subject to "popping out" of the top of your bras. Not fun to adjust in public!
By the way, don't go to Victoria's Secret, they try to sell you a wrong size just to make a sale (like going up a band size, which is a no-no!). Nordstroms is by far better and higher quality at about the same price range.

It all depends on the bra and the type/make of the bra! I have found that I am an A in some and a B in others! If you are a 34DD try a 36D instead!

Go and try them on! If they feel good, and look good to you! BUY EM!

D and DD are different, as you can tell by the size (D, DD, DD is bigger).

There are some good places that have DD's that look very nice.

Your breasts will probably hang over the cups and look ridiculous.

You may have to spend more to get an attractive bra in your size but it will be worth it.

Try Victoria Secret. A well fitting bra will feel much more comfortable.
