We have taken down the government of another Sovereign nation (no argument that it was evil and corrupt) without a declaration of war from congress is this legal or have simply made it legal. Let's go back to the Constitution people.

If Saddam was so evil and corrupt then why were Cheney and Rumsfeld over there selling him arms and kissing his butt for so many years?

The Constitution was a wonderful idea. A lot of people sacrificed everything they had, including their lives, for it. But we didn't care. We let crooked judges on the supreme ct steal the 2000 election for bush and the oil companies and looters he represents. So its over. Nice try. Maybe something better will come out of the rubble. I guess people just have to suffer, they can't bother themselves to protect something as precious as freedom.

It's very legal... read the pre-emptive strike section of the National Security Strategy of the United States. By the way, the same language that's in there now is the same that was in there since the Kennedy Administration. May not be the answer you want, but it is the truth.
