Contact a music publisher to enquire about song submissions. It's rare that they find "the" song this way but not impossible - plus it';s a good way to get a start in the music business if thet's what you want to do.

Relax. Try them out on people, but don't think of them in terms of money. Making music and writing songs is a gift...enjoy the gift. It is not a competition!

You should find a bunch of music companies that might want to publish your work. Don't get discouraged if one doesn't like it because there are others that probably will.

You think they are good... You see lots of people who think they are good on the Xfactor but they are in fact Sh*t!
Spread the word, ask for independant people's opinion and you'll know if you have any talent.

start a band, or better yet, start one with me!! i try to write songs, but they're either awful, or the tune is too much like another song.

put them on myspace. many people are getting deals off of myspace and others just get many to read and comment on it.
try it out, you will be suprised at your response.
