My son refuses to eat much of anything during the day. It's so frustrating! Today all he's eaten is a one egg omelet with half a slice of wheat toast, two graham crackers and a banana, along with about 10 oz of milk and it's already 5:30. I made him green beans and grilled chicken for lunch, which he usually loves, but he refused it. This has been going on for about a week. Should I speak to his pediatrician?

He's walking well while holding something, and he already has eight teeth.

Kids eat when they are hungry and don't when they are not.
My daughter will go days where it seems she barely eats, then days when she is continuously coming up and asking for food.
When teething she eats less, when a growth spurt hits, she eats a ton.
I would not worry unless it lasts for a long time (more than 1-2 weeks) or you notice a substantial drop in his weight.
Trust me, he will eat if he is hungry and if his body needs it.

Oooh i've got self assurance your soreness! I even have an 11 month previous too yet while she substitute into approximately 10 months she did the full refusing to consume bit....talk approximately troublesome! She too in no way appeared hungry, did no longer choose for bottles, sturdy nutrients, no longer something in any respect. i ultimately stopped rigidity feeding her and lo and behold, 5 days later, 4 tooth popped by using! So i'm assuming her refusal to consume has to do along with her mouth hurting. She might cry yet no longer a ton so I had no concept her first tooth have been ultimately coming in. Has your toddler gotten any tooth yet? you additionally can choose for to have her ears checked. seems on a similar time as my toddler substitute into teething she had a double ear an infection which additionally turns them off from nutrients (sucking and biting hurts their ears extra) so as which could be some thing to look into as properly. carry close in there and good success, it gets extra efficient! :o)

Is he walking? Its normal for walkers to be more interested in the world around them. Its part of being a toddler.
My 7 month old is just starting to toddle, and its like pulling teeth to get him to eat just half of his normal food.
He might be teething too, its normal for them to not want to eat when theyre teething. I wouldnt worry about it in the least.

Maybe he is getting teeth, don't worry, my daughter used to not want to eat sometimes too, then one day she would just start eating a lot again. Just make sure to keep offering him snacks, if he seems to be losing weight then I would go to the doctor. Don't worry, they all do this.

I agree that he may be getting teeth the food he was eating is food they like to eat while teething.
don't worry unless it keeps up and you don't feel any teeth.
after 3-4 days then take him to the dr.
