He is definitely a Bush stooge. If he were a hero Bush would not have considered putting him in the position he is currently in. Those generals who retired and began speaking out against Bush and his war are the heroes.
John Kerry stood up for America when he spoke before congress concerning american brutality in Vietnam. He fought for his country then he came home and stood up for american values....if that isn't a hero, then there are no heroes!

General Petraeus is a military genius. He is the best man for the Job.. I know all the Democrats and Liberal Bush haters will call him a liar if he reports progress, but I think he will do great.. God Bless Our Troops !!

It's pretty humorous, if you ask me, that there's been such a lack of liberal thought from so many of the anti-war people. There isn't an iota of cause for anybody to think of General Petraeus as anything other than an intelligent and honorable man doing a very tough job well.

I think it's interesting how the media and other generals were attacking the surge and said there was basically no progress, and here come these two generals, Petreaus and Crocker - and say the exact opposite.
Common sense: Someone is lying
Reality: Bush met with Patreus a couple of days prior to his testimony in congress
Conclusion: General Betrayus betrayed us
