I am breastfeeding my 3 month old, and the past couple days she has been screaming the same way she does when she gets her vaccinations from the doctor. she seems like she is in a great deal of pain, and she doesn't even want to eat ( and she always has an appetite). She didn't poop all day yesterday, and she gets a look on her face like shes trying real hard to go, and she gets upset. I gave her gas drops and she pooped and it looked real watery. I ate chocolate the past two days from a party- could she be having an allergy? She usually moves her bowels 2-3 times a day- she just has fits or inconsolable screaming and crying and theres nothing visibly wrong. can anyone offer some advice that may help?
Thank you.

It's quite normal. Also, if you take in food that she hasn't, her body needs some time to adjust to it if you're breastfeeding--or the same goes if she's eating a kind of food she's never encountered before--maybe that explains the unusual lack of waste coming out. In any case, if you're really worried, it doesn't hurt to go for a check-up.

Contrary to what the other poster mentioned it is NOT too early for her to have an allergy, my daughter was allergic to dairy and if I had too much milk she'd get a bad skin rash and if she had milk based formula she'd break out in hives and throw up at 2 months old.

BUT, what you're describing doesn't sound at all like an allergy, it could be that the chocolate (or possibly the caffiene in the chocolate) upset her stomach a little. Try some mylicon drops, that should help if she's gassy!

Its not an allergy, its normal. Babies are super sensitive to what you eat, it sours your milk and can give them gas. Chocolate did the same thing to my son. She'll deal better with those things as she gets older.

Just make sure she doesnt have fever and she's not dehydrated or having the runs all the time. Watch what you eat, and keep hydrated.

When I went to the doctor last Wednesday to get my baby's 4 month shots I asked if she may have allergies and the doctor said it is too soon for that.
