Ive watched a few animes/mangas i like really dark or gruesome ones or something really mad and deep like evangelion. Im in need for new good series.

Elfen lied
Evangelion, The End of Eva,
Akira,
Appleseed
Ghost in the shell,
Hellsing,
Cow Boy Bepop.
can anyone point me in the right direction of some more like these i hate childish ones or when the eyes are to big for some reason :s

I don't think that there is anything darker or more guresome than Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. That would be my first definite recommendation. This series has so many WTF moments, especially when people go beserk.

Death Noe would be another great choice. It's an amazing series, and it is very dark. But although there are a lot of violent deaths occuring, I wouldn't really call it gruesome.
