ummm....why is it when someone gets shot in the back of the head it is labeled as "secretarian violence", but when they get shot in the front of the head, it isn't?

Yes, of course a massive surge of US troops will keep a lid on violence. That's not hard to work out. The problem is how to maintain these low levels of violence when the troops leave.

Ok, even accepting that bogus chart on its own terms, anyone with a modicum of analytical capacity can see that the levels of violence (which, it has been pointed out, are measured using highly questionable methodologies) are about the same as they were in summer 2006. Even with the cooked numbers.
So where's this great improvement?

This whole mess where people are whining about the war started out as one party trying to gain political footing. The liars did such a great job, that many people want us out of the war no matter what benefit there is.
Congratulations Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, you have a good number of Americans demonizing GWB. Problem is, as I read posts here, you can't keep em' reined in...they are turning on you too.

It's not working. It's been a monumental failure since it got started.
All we've done is turn one government into a dysfunctional entity and the insurgency into Whack-A-Moles.

The latest estimate (from experts outside of the country) is that 640 Iraqi civilians are being killed each month... Does that sound like success??

Good luck, but 'success' doesn't serve the liberal agenda. You're going to get a lot of 'nuh uh' answers.
