Why not, in our country, we all have the rigth to free speech. Or were you talking about the democratic conventions in Kuwait or Saudia Ariabia (our close dictatorial allies)?

He'd be more suited to deliver the address at the keynote address at the Republican National convention, where he can be among friends (such as the longtime friends of the bin Laden family, the Bushes).

The chances of that happening are about as likely as a prominent Democrat like Zell Miller being the keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention.....OOPS....never mind.

No, maybe the GOP convention, depending who wins the nomination.

This would make more sense as many of the GOP candidates are on the same page as OBL.

They also would not have to worry about arresting him as they feel he is irrelevant and impotent.

A better question is, "Why do neocons try to align Osama Bin Laden with the Democrats when it's the Republicans that are his best friend by contriving a war against an insignificant foe to allow him to continue his reign of terrorism?"
