The white house knows that bush has very little credibility with the American people. There fore if they have Petraeus give the report they think more people will believe it. To me, that shows how much of a coward bush actually is. Remember,he hid from the Viet Nam war, as did cheney. To put Petreaus in that situation was an act of cowardice on bushes part. He got us into this war, he should face the American people, not send a subordinate to do his dirty work. I think Petreaus is a good soldier & like a good soldier he will obey an order from his commander. Too bad his commander is bush!

Probably because he is answering questions during the House investigation, along with the Ambassador, and the administration is not answering them. However, I have no doubt that they have been told what to say and are laying the groundwork for staying in Iraq. Petreaus is fully coached! We are never going to get the full story or truth from Bush, and this has become more evident with the investigation. Congress must use their best judgment and they should listen to the American People who have every right to speak their mind!

each and everything because of the fact the report on the suspected WMD, that have been shown to be untrue and subsequently introduced approximately the invasion of Iraq, is the fruit of a toxic tree. as quickly as a lie is advised no longer something yet honesty can exchange the direction. Justifying a "fantasy" can in no way be the reality.

Writing is not the only way to report. He reports to the white house and they write it.Also, last time I checked,General Petraeus is the one reporting to congress, not the White House. That's why its called the Petraeus report.

The General wrote the report and there is no evidence for any other conclusion.
If you are saying he didn't write it then you are inferring that he is lying and I would like to see you prove that allegation.

he writes it, then the WH edits, and then he speaks it. He was picked for the job because he thinks like the neocons that picked him.
