I think it was a bad day for the world and this country. I was horrified. It was quite shocking. It was certainly a bad day, but for me personally I've certainly had worse. 911 was terrible and I'll never forget it, but it did not directly effect me. My emotions were stirred and mind was a blank for a time, but nothing like a close relative passing, being laid-off, or being injured in a na accident.

It was definitely one of them! I was finally able to watch the video of the towers a few years later and it was like it happened all over again. I did watch it on TV the day of in total shock. My city, Charlotte, N.C. had fighter jets flying around and it was just amazing and scary and horrible.
Can you imagine living in a country where that is a daily occurrence? Bombings, gunfire, Taliban rats!
I love this country!

It was one of the worst - although there are other days in my personal life I can think of, too - I was watching and listening from England as the events unfolded - I am sure I will take some time to think about it tomorrow.

It was horrible, but not the worst day.
Even before then [and certainly continuing since], I have prayed for those who die every day in horrible circumstances. Though the 3,000+ people in the World Trade Center was a tragedy, that many people die every day on this planet from starvation and other adverse conditions.

9/11 substitute right into a tragic experience and effected many. lost lives, families torn aside, etc... undesirable. 401K: I desire i could say that 9/11 substitute into the extra serious of the two (my concept) yet many human beings have become grasping and entirely based upon money. So in many human beings lives, the 401K loss substitute into far worse than 9/11 using fact it in my opinion affected them. Greed has substitute into thecontinual of this united states. look all around you and what do you spot? grasping human beings.

It was the most shocking, surrealistic, sorrowful, and angry days of my life. On that day I knew how my parents felt the day Pearl Harbor was attacked.

Can't think of many worse. I didn't lose anyone, was in Texarkana at the time, but the feeling of security will never come back, nor should it. We should know, we NEED to know, that crazy people are out there.
