Actually, none of the above. My favourite host was the late Richard Dawson. He was incredibly funny and had a great screen presence.

though I think Johnny Carson was the best. He was witty, not afraid to let the guests get the spotlight, genuinely interested in the guests, etc.

montel williams. despite having ms he is not sitting back and letting the disease rul;e his life. if anyone can beat it, montel can and will. i love his shows. it's not all the same. like maury is, most of maury's shows are:

obese children
troubled teens
and who's really the women
