My dear Jedi - just so you know, It was NOT me who gave you a thumbs down. In fact, as always I gave you a thumbs up; you are welcome to answer me when and if you can, dear. Thanks for always being here.

My Dear Bronwen - First of all, welcome back; my Bronwen blood level has been real low lately! Don't you let that happen again, PLEASE!

Secondly, what do you mean by NOT consider that extra piece. That extra piece [i.e. Lullaby (Spiderman) by The Cure is] one of my ALL-TIME favorites! I love that song. Can you imagine how much greater Kafka's Die Verwandlung (i.e. The Metamorphosis) could have been had he listened to that song while writing it??? WOW!

My Dear ClaireDePlume (btw, did I ever tell you, I really like that name?) - several comments:

1- I cannot stand Cher if mt life depended on it, BUT I really did like her performance in Moonstruck (great movie). And the music, of course, speaks for itself.

2- Come to think of it, from certain angles that's who you remind me of - Rita Hayworth. No I'm NOT kidding. :-) She was one heck of a gorgeous lady.

3- Yes, Marina del Ray - what memories!

4- Hmmmmmmm - I hope you are NOT telling me that The Greatest American Hero is a stuffed monkey? Though looking at our present politicians one really does wonder. LOL LOL :-)

My Dear New Friend “JustLanded” – First of all, welcome to my humble lil’ corner. Secondly, and in the name of the human race, I would like to apologize to you for the sad state of affairs on this lowly lil’ patch of ground called Earth – I am sorry to say you might have JustLanded on the worst possible inhabited planet of them all. Be that as it may, there are a few old souls around here who really appreciate the presence of a kind and perceptive alien – so again, Welcome.

Thanks for reconfirming my hunch that David Bowie (the true Space Oddity) was the one who sequestered Major Tom! (Great Song)

Yes For the Love of God is one of Steve Vai’s better pieces – at least he tells a story this time and doesn’t just go through a brain numbing series of meaningless notes played (some may say regurgitated) as quickly as the human hand is capable of reproducing.

And last but certainly NOT least Dashboard by Modest Mouse --> refreshingly hilarious.

My dear friend Hempsted - the third ring of hell - is that where they keep special characters like Hitler, Stalin, and Mao - under the direct supervision of the Master Himself? LOL LOL :-) … You answer when you can, my friend.

Only top 3? hmmmm.... this list sometimes undergoes revision, but in my books, these three. no four are entertaining and musical. well five then (including the frivolous addition at the end).

This exemplifies one of the finest movie memories with a perfect fusion of movie magic and music. If not for this movie, I may not have gone to see La Boheme:

(I'd paste the entire movie c/w soundtrack here if it was available, however this scene is the most poignant, and the hint of music is "haunting".)

This is "classic"; an upbeat tune and perfectly blended vintage footage:

And though this is audio only, I absolutely love this song (it inspired some traveling):

And then, this one:

And... just for a sense of whimsy (not to be included in my answer or anything) but just thought to add this one for frivolity's sake :D

p.s. dopey me. I would like to ask ~you~! What are Your top 3 favourite songs?
:D And the greatest AM hero - it's "just cute" and won out over my posting Beauty and The Beast

p.p.s. I thank you my dear friend for paying me such a high compliment. When I was a pre-teen, a friend of my mother's said I would grow up to look like Rita Hayworth (she is/was truly gorgeous), but the 'closest' I've come is being told several times, I look more like Bambi Bambeneck (sp?) than Bambi does. :) And which famous/infamous person resembles you, Mr. ?

Hempsted, Is this your not so subtle way of introducing your favourite video:
Burning Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash
~?~ ~?~~?~ ~?~~?~ ~?~~?~ ~?~~?~ ~?~~?~ ~?~

All you need are just TWO more sillisms.... and you qualify for the TEN points :P

Here are mine. I know you asked for three. The extra one is more of a curiosity, as the music is particularly well suited to the film footage. Please do not consider it in the context of my answer, as I just include it because it's so interesting.
