you have to multiply the numbers in each set of parentheses by the number right outside them. so 3(2x-5) = 6x-15. And 6(1-5x) = 6-30x. Then combine the numbers to get 4x+6x-15+6-30x = -20x-9
im sorry but -10 - 9 isnt the answer

Distribute:
4x+6x-15+6-30x
times 3 and 2x & 3 and -5
times 6 and 1 & 6 and -5x

then add the factors with x together:
-20x
and the factors without an x
-9

so the answer should be -20x-9

4x+3(2x-5)+6(1-5x)

First distribute:
so 3*2x , 3*-5 and 6*1 , 6*5x

4x+6x-15+6-30x

Now add up the numbers with the x's
4x+6x+ negative 30x = -20x

-20x-15+6

Now add up the other numbers with no x's:
-15+6

-20x-9

-20x-9 = answer

4x + 3(2x-5) + 6(1-5x)
Distribute the 3 to the (2x-5).
4x + 6x -15 + 6(1-5x)
Distribute the 6 to the (1-5x).
4x + 6x - 15 + 6 - 30x
Group like terms.
4x + 6x - 30x - 15 + 6
Simplify.
-20x - 9.

Voila. :]

First do the multiplication
3(2x-5)= 6x-15

6(1-5x)=6-30x

Now do the addition/subtraction

4x+6x-15+6-30x

-20x-9

This should be your answer. Hope I helped!

ummm. you would need more info. like is the equation equal to anything? or is it just simplifing it? if it is to simplify this is wat i did:

4x + 3(2x-5) +6(1-5x) first, use the distribution property.

4x + 6x -15 + 6 - 30x then, combine your like terms.

-20x -9
i'm not sure how you solved this, but this is wat i got.

by way of fact PEMDAS tells us the order of (), exponents,Multiply, divide, upload, subtract, we do the alternative while fixing an equation. a million. subtract. this means to subtract so as that on the "x's side" there is not any addition sign. as quickly as we seem on the equation above we see that th equation starts off with 5+... This right this moment tells us to subtract the 5 from the two factors so as that we've not got any addition sign in the "x's side". this provides us 5-5+4/x=a million-5. As you comprehend 5-5 is comparable to 0 and by way of the id belongings we don't even might desire to write 0+... by way of fact something plus 0 is comparable to that something. on the terrific side we've a million-5 that's -4. This leaves us with 4/x=-4 2.Now, we might go with to isolate the x. this means we might desire to eliminate the x/... to accomplish that which you are going to be able to desire to do the alternative of branch that's multiplication. We might desire to multiply the two factors by ability of four so as that the 4/... factors out by way of fact 4/4 equals one and attributable to the id belongings of multiplication we dont might desire to write the only by way of fact one cases something is that something. This leaves us with x=-4(4). -4 cases 4 is -sixteen so our equation is now... x=-sixteen The anwser is -sixteen wish this enables
