Can someone tell me how to remove a boat trailer spindel? do i need a pully tool ? or do i just turn it with a pipe wrinch. do thay have revise thred.? I know its a 1 in.spindle and seven in.long. need to replace wheele bearings but spindle has damage to it also. thank you

Just call trailer manufacturer .You will be amazed how cheap a complete axle will cost you.
They will ask for dimensions like end to end . What trailer is rated at weight wise and possibly the spindle dimensions.
If you know the model number that will even help.
Good luck just trying to find the correct spindle and hope the welder gets it aligned straight

In most cases the spindle is cast or welded to a plate than is in turn bolted to the axle. You need to remove the spindle and plate. Sometimes the spindle is welded directly to the axle. In that case you need to take it to a welding/machine shop.

spindles are welded on the axle. go to a welding shop

side grinder. cut the weld loose where it slips up into the axle. should slide right out.
