I keep seeing "You got your period but it's still possible to be pregnant". Your period is when the lining and egg of the Uterus is bleed out. How can someone still have their period and be pregnant? It doesn't make any sense.

You can't, the women are mislabeling the bleeding. Just because blood is coming out of your vagina, doesn't mean it's a period. It can be from the cervix, or a blood clot, etc.. I bled during my first trimester with my first pregnancy, and it ended up a blood clot had formed where the egg had attached and caused bleeding. Also, if the lining of the uterus came out when you were pregnant, then it would be a miscarriage since the embryo is attached to the lining. It's unfortunate that all of these women are misinformed about what a period really is, especially since they have one each month.

it is caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the blood-rich lining of the uterus and that will cause period like symptoms. i had a period the first 3 months with my first baby.

Well, if the expected conception was DURING your period.... that seems weird... but if you get pregnant while on your period, it's because you are probably younger, and your periods are irregular(ish) and you ovulated more than once that month.... which is weird. happens mostly in teens....

but if you mean, you ARE pregnant, but later got your period... it's not REALLY your period.

Also, for a period to occur it would mean that the woman would have had to ovulate, and ovulation halts during pregnancy. It is EXTREMELY rare for a woman to ovulate during pregnancy. I have only heard of a woman getting pregnant once while already pregnant. Her babies were born about 4 months apart.
