It worked fine in the morning, but when I came out of work in the afternoon, it did not work. It has enough freon.

How do you know it has enough freon. It takes a set of gauges to tell that. Do you have the necessary test manifold ? Start your engine, turn on the a/c, open the hood and see if the a/c comp. is running. If it does not engage it is a sign of low charge.of freon. It is actually R134A refrigerant.

If it was the a/c compressor, your vechicle would not start, because they seize up. Maybe it is your Accumulator/Dryer or Oriface tube clogged.
