Actually, Petraeus is about the 4th or 5th general to have their credibility ruined by Bush.

Don't forget about the likes of Abazaid, etc. all who dared rebuke the "stay the course, until I get the hell out of here and can blame this mess on the next president plan" forwarded by Bush & Co.

While I was once a big Powell fan, truth is Bush offered him a job and he took it. Bush threw him under the bus while he was a "civilian" working in his cabinet. It seems much more underhanded to do the same to a sitting general trying to win your ill advised war for you. Manipulating a former general who gets into politics is a different animal than politicizing an acting general...

I agree on one factor and that's, Colin Powell endorsing Obama further widens the lead he has. yet shall we be intense right here, endorsements do no longer probable do something yet instruct that the flesh presser being recommended ought to be depended on. What concerns extra is regardless of if Obama can proceed to talk to the themes which he has finished extra suitable at than McCain. McCain does not have lots time to get it precise. He has squandered distinctive possibilities to take the lead and that i think of its practically over. the only element left to function to the equation are the votes. as quickly as that occurs then we can understand what united statesa. has desperate.

You libs make me laugh. If Bush cured cancer you would still find a problem with it. Now General Petreus is lying for Bush.
I understand you're blinded by your hatred of Bush, but when you start to question an American Hero like General Petreus that just illustrates how sick, hateful and intolerant you libs really are. You people would bash, smear and belittle your own mothers to suit you political needs.

General Petreus,he is a very honorable man ,and I don't think Bush can tarnish his reputation. The man is a military strategies expert. Will we need him against the upcoming war against Iran?Of course he is exactly what we will need ,and it is coming.Iran has vowed to destroy the USA,and Israel. This we can not let even come close to occurring.

That would depend on the audience. If you're set in your opinion and not willing to let it be swayed by expert opinion or even fact, then, yes, you have a point. Some of us, though, think that it's possible that some people actually mean what they say. Petraeus is a smart guy, and honorable, and I see no reason not to take him at his word.
