its a hp pavilion zd8000 and like i have a micro sd card with an sd adaptor but when i go on my computer it wont show please help

I would check HP's website for driver updates as a place to start.

If you got it fresh out of the box, then the drivers are already installed. When you plug in your Micro SD card it should show up as a drive letter. You may not even get a notification bepending on how you have setup your OS.
Sounds like you might have an MMC port, which handles SD, MicroSD, and Compactflash. Check your manual, but driver wise you should be ready to go. I have an HP NX6325 and it has an MMC port, this notebook appears older than yours...
Also, you may need to format your SD card if you havent already.

if it's an old laptop maybe the slot is just dirty. try air spraying it clean maybe? worked when a USB port was dirty.
besides that i don't know.
