Yes! My family abandoned me when I needed them most because what I was trying to tell them, which was absolutely true, sounded so far fetched they all thought I was having mental health issues! It hurt like hell and I've never recovered from it!

No but one of my friends got abandoned when we did a chinese fire drill out in the country. He had to walk back to town.

I was put up for adoption... Imagine how it feels to have someone carry you inside them for nine months, and then just abandon you because they didn't want to face the consequences of their actions...

by my now ex. i miss him more everyday. heart break is so tough. but i don't know if that really qualifies as being abandoned. i've never had family abandon me, and i am quite thankful for that.

my dad abandoned my whole family years ago. haven't seen or talked to him since. i don't have any contact with that side of my family
