Spanky, "The most important thing is the size of the govt. and taxation." THe second amendment is "fluff"?
Your a real clever one. Without the second amendment anything else is meaningless. Nothing else would be protected one bit. WIth gun control in place, you would not only be defenceless to any robbery or assualt, but defenceless to any tyrany.

Compared to what is par for New York politicians, he is to the right. LOL that says A LOT doesn't it?
I like SOME of his policies but the two you mention would disqualify him from getting my vote. They are 2 of the most important issues to me personally.

Well, he is trying to hide the fact that for many years he was a democrat....
He figures if he calls himself conservative enough, people will start to think hes a conservative...
Enough people have seen his cross dressing video clips & photos on youtube, to know hes not a normal replublican. The christians of the bible belt also know its not exactly right to marry your cousin either... (rudy's first wife was his cousin)
It amazes me how many republicans support him, and know nothing about his past, or his personal life.

Those are already decided issues. They are meaningless fluff. The most important thing is the size of the govt. and taxation.

He calls himself a conservative because that is the leanings of the party he wants a nomination from. He is really a liberal, almost as liberal as the lib in cons clothing, Ronnie Raegan.

He doesn't.
He calls himself a libertarian who is just with the Republican Party. Make sense? Yeah, it doesn't make any in anyone else's mind either.

He calls himself a "Conservative" because Democrats are too smart to vote for him.

Sorry, I like Rudy as a person, but not as my President. I'm a real Republican, so he doesn't fit in my mold.
