What are your views on piercings?

Nose piercings and multiple ear piercings in particular.

I think nose piercings are so cute, but only the studs. I would do it if I had the guts...but I'm too chicken. As far as the ears go, I think two is just fine.

Besides, it's your body, do what you want with it.


It really amazes me how judgmental everyone is being... So many people believe the stereotypes about people with piercings that is making me laugh. Like people with piercings can't get good jobs, but what defines a good job? Isn't it just a job you enjoy doing and helps you get what you need in life? A good job doesn't really have a lot to do with money... Also people are saying that if you have piercings then you are a hoodlum... LOL... way to judge someone based on appearance... that's real open minded of you... Oh and by the way I have never been arrested... I am no hoodlum and I have multiple piercings.

How much more judgmental can you be? I think they can be beautiful, it just shows you that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

I think everyone has their own taste, but I think too many piercings look bad.. I would never ever pierce my face.. like lip, nose, eyebrow.. If you don't want it later you end up with a hole in your face.. not pretty..
Ear piercings are fine, as long as its not more than 4 on each ear.. I personally like belly button piercings, but that's it for piercings.. Anything other body part being pierced for me is out of the question.. like places where you can't see it.. or your tongue.. Its not worth the pain.. But then again, it's your life!! That's just what i think about piercings anyways..

Not everyone would agree with body piercings and I won't force my opinion on anyone, for that matter. I have multiple ear piercings; two in one ear, three in the other (not forgetting to mention the fact that I also have two tattoos). Some people tend to judge individuals who have piercings and tattoos because even though we live in a fairly modern society, they are still viewed as a sort of taboo. It's not everyone's kettle of fish, if you know what I mean. I personally don't have a problem with them (though I think there should be a limit as to how many piercings a person has.)

One or two ear piercings can be nice. Rows of ear piercings start looking tacky. Simple is usually more elegant, in my view.

Nose piercings make me imagine someone who's got a finger two knuckles deep up their nose to put the back on the piercing to hold it in place. It's not a pretty picture.

I've never gotten my nose pierced but I want to. I have 3 holes in my ears (ear lobes not cartiliage) If you've never had a piercing in your ear before, I'll tell you that the first one doesn't hurt becuase you really don't know what to expect. If you are going back for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th hole and so on then they'll probably hurt just a tiny bit more than the 1st becuase you know the procedure but we girls can handle a little pain! Lets put it this way: Getting your ears pierced will hurt but your boyfriend dumping you hurts 10 times worse! lol I'm serious!

I have 7 in my ear right now, and want a nose piercing. It just depends on the person who has the piercings though, other than that I think they're cute =) lol

I think they're perfectly fine. I have multiple ear piercings but can't pierce my nose because I work in a law firm. I'm looking into other piercings though.

I can't say too much against ear piercings. I have multiple holes, and I like them. The last one I got was a gift from my son in law. As for nose piercings, my daughter has one, but the only time I see it is when she takes it out to clean it. She doesn't want to flaunt it and gross people out. Each to their own. :)

I think nose piercing look awesome.... on some girls and women they even look feminine, which is cool. Multiple ear piercings look good too, I have them I should know! i also had a nipple piercing which I loved but had to remove. You will always come across people who aren't into piercings and tatts.... but I say if you like it and it makes you happy you should go for it!!
