The car starts from rest, moves in a straight line, and has a speed of 10 m/s (22 mi/h) when it reaches the end of the 115 m long ramp.

(a) What is the acceleration of the car?
m/s2
(b) How much time does it take the car to travel the length of the ramp?
seconds

The equations for this are

115=.5*a*t^2
10=a*t

Plug 10=a*t into the first equation and solve for t
115=5*t
t=115/5
t=23

a=12/23

the traffic moves 230 m
