Because we have things in life that we still want to accomplish as a single person (like finding the perfect partner or completeing school) and sometimes being committed/married makes it harder.

Because we are smart. We're only in our 20's. What is the rush to find one person and settle down? Live a little and have fun first (not saying you shouldn't have fun after you settle down too ..lol). So many people seem to be in such a rush to get married and have kids. Relax and enjoy life. It will all work out in the end.

That's pretty obvious, don't you think?
We go through the most life changing events in our 20's. Some of us don't want to be tied down. College, graduation, grad school, career minded. When that's over, then you start to gain stability in your life, and then you know what you want and don't want from a partner. You've lived your single life. After it all, (your 30s) you want someone to share it with.

Because, if we're honest with ourselves,
we admit that at 20, we don't know what the
hell we are doing, but we do know that, in
commitment, we can make big mistakes.
