Your question is a little vague. Are you asking about prep books for the GMAT, or for books that would prepare one for the MBA itself? If the former, things like Kaplan, Barrons, and Princeton Review work well. If the latter, unless your school has assigned some specific readings, books are not the usual way to prepare. By the time a book has been written, edited and published, the information is out of date for the business world. If you have no prior exposure to the business world at all, you may want to start reading, on a regular basis, publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Fortune, Forbes, and Inc. Take a look at a Harvard Business Review or two. If you really want to do some serious reading, find something which explains the stock market and a basic macroeconomics book to get a feel for the concepts and structures underlying business.

Don't use irrelevant words like crack. I hope you know GATE is Graduate Aptitute Test in Engineering and not anything like a wall gate in your house or a software to crack..okay?? Use the book called GATE 2010 by G.K.Publications. Go to this website for more information on GATE books.
