a SASE is a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope...include one in your letter, so they can send something back to you!!

A stamped, self-addressed envelope. This is so he can send you back a response, and perhaps a signed photograph.
Send your letter in a large format (9x12) envelope, and enclose a 9x12 envelope for his reponse. That way they (his handlers) can send a full-size 8x10 photo without folding it.

are you sure it wasn't SASE? that would be Self Addressed Stamped Envelope.
