hi
best check there is no restrictions in your area, check with your local council, front gardens may be different than back gardens where the legal height is 6 feet.
there is a street in our town which has no fences round their front gardens as this is not allowed as the council wanted it to be open plan.
i sympathise with the bad neighbours bit we went through 4 years of hell with our, but thankfully they moved.

I'm sure this is a question for your local police and lawyers as they differ in different cities. I've seen fences from 4 feet high to 10 feet high. Some people even use shurbs which can grow even higher than that.

You are no legally allowed to go over 6 foot high when putting a fence up in either front or back.

Fences generally should be no more than six feet. However, check your deeds as often you can't put up fences at the front.

Check local codes, normally a 4 ft. heighth is maximum. Anything higher is considered a "spite fence".

You need to check your HoA handbook OR the county guid lines. The regs are there. Be sure to follow them or you'll start getting fined.

Can be no higher than your forehead when standing in bare feet, if that is the local rule.

It depends on your neighborhood association (if you have one) and also what the city allows.

Call your city.
