You could do, but I doubt it would stick very well. It'd be far better to use 'No More Nails' or another similar type adhesive. You can get these from most DIY shops. They work well because they don't require both surfaces to be absolutely smooth and will fill any surface imperfections betwwen the skirting board and the wall so giving a good strong bond.

It depends on the type of wall.If its plaster board then yes.The better thing to use tho is that no nails stuff which will stick the skirting to any wall type,u can buy it now for about a quid a tube.
Make sure the surface that its going to be bonded to are free from dust, and u might want to tack it with a couple of nails or wedge some bricks against it while the glue sets.

like the others have answered, use one of the diy glues such as no nails. about 3 quid a tube. ( dont forget to buy the gun too ) lol
best to just help the glue along with some medium length panel pins, knock them in gently, then knock the head of the nail in with a larger nail, so it just sits in a bit on the skirting, the glue should hold fine.

You may get away with it if the wall is plasterboard that is not plaster skim ed as you would be sticking to cardboard, although the wall would have to be flat, best advise is to use a building adhesive IE gripfil or something like it, and if the wall is not flat then you would also need a few fixings to pull the board into the wall.

No wood glue sticks wood to wood. You can use no nails or you could fix it with cut or masonry nails. Check for any pipes if you nail it.

depends what your wall is made of .
No nails or something of the same nature would be more successful than wood glue.
I usually use no nails and screws and rawl plugs .
